Yeomen Stop JCU Men's Tennis As Blue Streaks Drop 6-3 Road Decision

Ryan Mullaney won his singles and doubles match on Saturday
The JCU men's tennis team earned a pair of tight doubles victories on Saturday morning at Oberlin College's Heisman Field House, but the Blue Streaks dropped five singles matches and a 6-3 decision to the Yeomen on the road.

Box Score

Ryan Mullaney continued his terrific season with a 6-0, 6-3 victory at #1 singles, in addition to teaming up with Sean Graham for a 8-6 win in the #1 doubles bout.  Mullaney was the only Blue Streak to get the best of Oberlin in a singles match.

JCU's other bright spot on a dreary day in Ohio came from the #3 doubles duo of Hunter Pellegrini and Eric Grimaldi, who battled to a 8-6 triumph over Oberlin's Eliot Heaton and Eli Rogatz.

The Blue & Gold will host their first 2013 team match when Ohio Northern comes to town on March 23.
