The bounces did not go the way of the Blue Streaks in their league opener against Ohio Northern
John Carroll opened Ohio Athletic Conference play Saturday against Ohio Northern, but whether it was in Ada (for the women) or in Medina (for the men), it was a tough day of tennis all around for the Blue Streaks.
The JCU women were blanked, 9-0, while the Blue Streak men fell, 8-1

The lone winner at either site for the Blue Streaks was men's #1 singles play
Ryan Mullaney. In a battle of first team All-OAC players froma year ago, the JCU senior bested Ohio Northern's Joey Frank in straight sets.
With the setbacks, the JCU women fall to 2-7 overall and 0-1 in the OAC, while the Blue Streak men drop to 1-8 and 0-1 in league play.
