The John Carroll University men's tennis team made sure to take advantage of the long trip down to New Concord Wednesday afternoon with a nine-match sweep of Muskingum University.

The win was the second shutout of the season in conference play for the Blue Streaks, who improved to 3-10 overall and 2-3 in the Ohio Atheltci Conference
Doubles competition saw the Blue Streak pairs drop just one game all day, as two of the tandems won in 8-0 sets.
Singles' play saw four of six JCU men win in straight sets, while Peter Nemes lost only one game and
Connor Burkhart needed a tiebreaker to defeat his competition and earn his third collegiate singles' victory.
The Blue & Gold will return to Shaker Heights Saturday afternoon to face Marietta College.
