John Carroll University had its approach finely tuned on Saturday afternoon, dominating the visiting Marietta Pioneers by a 9-0 score at the Paramount Tennis Club in Medina.

In three of the day's nine matches, the Blue Streaks did not allow a single point from the opposition.
Anna Stein achieved this at #2 singles, as well as
Tracy Gibson (#3 singles) and the top doubles duo of
Catherine Engel and
Kyle Cousineau.
Gibson and Stein teamed up to get an 8-2 win at #2 doubles, while
Hannah Baumwell (#5 singles), Corrine Hendrock (#3 doubles),
Katelyn Hill (#3 doubles) and
Emily Gorndt (#6) joined in on the fun, as well.
The win improves John Carroll's 2013 record to 5-9 overall, 3-4 in OAC play.
