The JCU men's tennis team finished its 2013 campaign on a high note Saturday in Shaker Heights, taking down OAC foe Heidelberg University, 6-3, at Hathaway Brown School.

After losing five of their first six contests in 2013, the Blue Streaks regrouped and finished 3-2 in their last five matches as a team.
On a gorgeous Spring day in northeast Ohio,
Ryan Mullaney and
Sean Graham erased a 6-1 deficit at #1 doubles to win 9-8 in a tie-breaker. Mullaney, who saved several match points in the collaborative effort, also secured a victory at #1 singles (6-3, 6-0).
Sawyer Dina and
Paul Olexa also joined forces for a doubles triumph, doing so in 8-1 fashion at #3 doubles.
John Carroll's Peter Nemes (6-4, 1-6, 6-1),
Eric Grimaldi (6-0, 6-4), and Olexa all took care of business in singles matches to help the Blue & Gold earn the team victory.
JCU finished the season with an overall record of 5-12, 4-5 in the OAC while Heidelberg dropped to 5-13, 2-7 in league play.
