With a 6-3 victory at Heidelberg on Saturday, the JCU women's tennis team finished the regular season OAC schedule as winners of four out of their last five heading into the conference tournament, which begins Tuesday, April 30 at John Carroll.

The Blue Streaks won two of the three matches that went into three sets to help tip the scales into their favor.
Catherine Engel needed three sets, but she set the tone for the Streaks with a 6-3, 3-6, 7-0 victory at #1 singles.
Tracy Gibson (#3),
Erin Davies (#4), and
Emily Gorndt (#5) followed suit with singles wins.
In doubles play, JCU's Gibson and
Anna Stein (#2) took home an 8-1 triumph, as did the team of Davies and Gorndt (#3).
The Blue & Gold will host Capital in University Heights on Tuesday, April 30 in the Quarterfinal round of the OAC Tournament.
