Case Reserve served as host of a non-league women's swimming & diving meet against John Carroll Saturday afternoon, and the visiting Blue Streaks wound up on the short side of a 140-97 score.
Right off the bat, however, John Carroll scored a win. And while it did not translate into a team victory, it was a sign of good things to come the rest of the afternoon.
ResultsIn the opening 400 medley relay, the quartet of
Carly Adams,
Lindsey Fano,
Anne Crowley and Tori Watson served up a win ina  time of 4:03.80, producing a margin of victory of almost two seconds.
Watson would also win in the 50 Free (25.02) and the 100 Free (53.98).
Adams was dominant in her 100 Back swim, winning by over two seconds in 1:01.26. She also was runner-up in the 400 IM (4:46.48)
Katii Sheffield went 2:02.11 to finish second in the 200 Free, as was Crowley in the 100 Fly (1:01.73), Samantha Clark in 3-meter diving (139.50 points) and Fano in the 100 Breast (1:08.92)
John Carroll returns to action next Saturday, November 8, against Ohio Athletic Confrence rival Mount Union in Alliance.
