After heating up during its spring break trip to Florida, the John Carroll University men's tennis team looked to stay hot.

Squaring off against one of the top teams in the area, Oberlin took the 8-1 decision on Saturday afternoon.

The freshmen doubles pairing of
Jad Abdul-Aal and
Nick Siciliano continued their strong showing in doubles. The duo improved to 8-0 on the year with their 8-4 win for the Blue Streaks' loan point of the contest.

Siciliano also had a strong showing at No. 4 singles but was unable to pull off the win dropping the 3-6, 7-6, 8-10 decision to the Yeo's Paul Farah.

Abdul-Aal battled hard at first singles but dropped the 3-6, 5-7 decision.

Sean Graham and
Kyle Mollison fought at the No. 1 doubles position but were unable to string enough points together falling 5-8.

The Blue Streaks open OAC play by hosting Muskingum on Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. The site of the match will be determined at a later date.
