After dropping all three doubles matches, the John Carroll University men's tennis team's perfect OAC record was in peril. The Blue Streaks (7-7, 4-0 OAC) would need a near-perfect effort in singles play.
Near-perfect was John Carroll taking five of the six singles points to take the match in come-from-behind fashion 5-4 over Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday afternoon at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

Jad Abdul-Aal and
Nick Siciliano saw their 11-match doubles streak end but the duo both regrouped to win their singles matches. Abdul-Aal took down Peter Harris 6-4, 7-6 and Siciliano won 7-5, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
Sean Graham (6-4, 6-3) and
Kyle Mollison (6-2, 4-1 retired) won their singles matches to secure the win.
The win was the Blue Streaks first over the Yellow Jackets since a 6-3 triumph in 2011.
Baldwin Wallace (13-2, 2-1 OAC) won all three doubles points.
