The Blue Streaks finished off the regular season in convincing fashion with a 144-114 victory over Wilmington on Saturday inside the Johnson Natatorium.

The afternoon began with a first place finish in the 200-medley relay as
Carly Adams,
Lindsey Fano,
Anne Crowley, and
Victoria Watson registered a time of 1:52.31.

Jane Verdi had a success-filled afternoon as she placed first in the 1,000-frees with a time of 11:21.87. The freestyle specialist would also finish in first for the 500-free with a time of 5:34.15.

Watson blew past the 200-free field with a first place finish and a time of 2:00.05. The senior also completed the 50-free ahead of the pack with a mark of 25.27.

The Blue Streaks domination would continue in the 100-back and 100-breast as
Margaret Zagrobelny (1:05.44) and Fano (1:08.62) would both record first place finishes in the events respectively.

But the first place finishes for the Blue Streaks do not stop there.

Adams not only finished first as part of the 200-medley relay, but she also placed first in the 200-breast with a time of 2:30.95.

Crowley also contributed with a first place finish in the 100-fly event with a time of 1:00.86.

The diving portion of the match was won unopposed for JCU including strong performances from
Kelly Dockery and
Sam Clark.

John Carroll finishes its regular season with a record of 8-2, 5-0 OAC.

The Blue Streaks will head to the campus of the University of Akron to begin a hopeful OAC Championship title run on February 19 at 11 a.m. inside the Ocasek Natatorium.
