The John Carroll University women's tennis team kept its perfect dual record intact with a 7-2 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday inside the Gordon Field House in Delaware, Ohio. JCU improved to 3-0 with the win.

Natalie Bourlas and
Nicollette Bourlas quickly won at No. 1 doubles 8-4.
Catherine Engel and
Jennifer Stroyne added an 8-3 win at No. 2 with
Katherine Devine and
Tracy Gibson securing the sweep with an 8-6 win.

Natalie Bourlas only dropped one game in her singles contest topping Meghan Guthrie 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.

Devine and Gibson both needed to rally after dropping their first sets. Devine rebounded to win 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) while Gibson rebounded with a 1-6, 6-0, 12-10 win.

Molly Traverso won her singles match at the sixth position 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

The women's tennis team returns to action with a 6 p.m. contest against Wooster on Friday, Feb. 20. The match will take place at Paramount Tennis Club in Medina, Ohio.
