A near-perfect effort was turned in by the John Carroll University women's tennis team on Saturday.
 
John Carroll dropped a total of three games the entire day on its way to a 9-0 sweep over Muskingum.
 
JCU made quick work in doubles play with a trio of 8-0 wins. Nicolette Bourlas and Natalie Bourlas picked up the sweep at No. 1 doubles. The duo would be matched by Tracy Gibson and Katherine Devine at No. 2 and Ivana Didovic and Molly Traverso at the No. 3 position.
 
Devine, Didovic and Traverso each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Nicolette Bourlas, Stroyne and Catherine Engel would win by 6-1, 6-0 marks.
 
John Carroll improves to 5-5, 1-0 OAC with the win. Muskingum falls to 1-3, 0-1 with the loss.
 
John Carroll returns to action with a 1 p.m. contest at Trine on Sunday, March 29.
