The John Carroll University women's tennis team remaining unbeaten in OAC play with a 9-0 win over host Heidelberg on Tuesday afternoon in Tiffin, Ohio.
 
John Carroll would not drop a point in two of the three doubles matches. Jennifer Stroyne and Catherine Engel cruised to the 8-0 win at No. 2. Katherine Devine and Tracy Gibson matched the mark at the No. 3 position. The win by Devine and Gibson marked the 10th of the year for the doubles pairing.
 
Gibson carried the shutout over to singles play coming up with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Siara Patrick at No. 5.
 
The Blue Streaks had two singles matches in which they only dropped one game. Devine (No. 4) and Molly Traverso (No. 6) posted 6-1, 6-0 wins.
 
JCU received a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 from Nicolette Bourlas, a 6-4, 6-4 win from Engel at No. 2 and a 6-2, 6-3 win from Stroyne at No. 3.
 
Sisters Nicolette and Natalie Bourlas won their doubles match 8-5.
 
John Carroll remains on the road with a 3:30 p.m. match on Friday, April 17 at Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio.
