Box Score John Carroll stayed on course Wednesday afternoon toward its first undefeated Ohio Athletic Conference regular season since 2000 with a 9-0 victory over Heidelberg University in a match played at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

The victory moves the Blue Streaks to 11-3 overall and 7-0 in the OAC. It is John Carroll's fifth shutout, and has pushed the team's match record to 60-3 against league opponents.

John Carroll lost just two games in the doubles competition. Lauren O'Malley and Madisyn Rini  won by an 8-0 score at the #1 spot, while the duos of Catherine Engel and Jennifer Stroyne at #2 and Carlye Campagna and Andreja Didovic at #3 won their bouts by identical 8-1 counts.

The Blue Streaks turned up the heat in singles, dropping just four games total. JCU was especially tough in the  #4, #5 and #6 matches, where Katherine Devine, Molly Traversoand Natalie Bourlas all posted 6-0 6-0 victories respectively.

With one match remaining in league play, the Blue Streaks are trying to duplicate the 8-0 mark posted by the 2000 team that finished 14-2 overall and won the OAC championship.
