The John Carroll University women's swimming and diving team finished undefeated in the regular season as they beat Wilmington College 186-67 on senior day Saturday afternoon in the Johnson Natatorium.

Christine Gaab,
Margaret Zagrobelny and
Amanda Casamatta were honored for their hardwork and dedication to JCU swimming over the last four years.
Those seniors, Gaab, Zagrobelny and Casamatta, along with junior
Carly Adams, started off the meet strong as they placed first in the 200 yard medley relay (1:56.06).
In the following event, juniors
Emma Connell (11:50.15) and
Allison McGreer (11:53.82) grabbed first and second place honors in the 1000 yard freestyle.
The Blue Streaks earned first place honors in the next five events before the one meter diving break. Freshman
Jenna Latsko placed first in the 200 yard freestyle (2:06.18). Freshman
Felice Ferrante finished first in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.49) and sophomore
McKenzie Stine finished a close second (1:07.91). In the 100 yard breaststroke, Adams grabbed first (1:10.23) and junior
Teresa Prinster grabbed second (1:13.09). The Blue Streaks swept first, second and third in the 200 yard butterfly.
Casamatta earned her second first-place finish of the day in the 50 yard freestyle (25.08).
Freshman
Shelbi Shearer finished first in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 56.90.
Madison Dolce (2:14.96) and
Marlene McGarrity (2:25.79) grabbed first and second place in the 20 yard backstroke to extend the Blue Streaks lead.
Chloe Ruggiero earned her second first-place finish of the day in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:33.09). Prinster came in at second (2:40.15).
The duo of Alex Iosue (5:44.99) and
Kendall Rudie (5:51.60) swept first and second in the second longest swim of the day, the 500 yard freestyle.
Casamatta grabbed her third first-place finish of the day after winning the 100 yard butterfly (1:105.10).
The Blue Streaks never gave up a first place finish in any event against the Quakers.
Up next for the Blue Streaks is the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships in February.
