Sarah Calabrese and Julianne McGervey combined for 29 kills as the Blue Streaks claimed the victory in four games (25-20m 25-23, 15-25, 26-24)

On the weekend covering two days and four matches, John Carroll went 1-3, with two of the losses coming against nationally ranked teams (#16 Eastern University and #9 University of Mary Washington). The Blue Streaks also fell to the host school, Haverford College.

McGervey had 50 kills in four matches, junior Thommie Jackson had a team-best eight blocks, and junior Caitlin Cianciolo -- was named to the all-tournament team -- led the Blue Streaks with 82 digs (5.47 per game)

John Carroll will next host Notre Dame College in a 7 p.m. matchup on Wednesday, September 6 for their home opener.
