Results
The Golden Knights won the first four races, including the opening 400 medley Relay, before
Erik Sriubas touched first in the 400 IM (4:17.41).
Ryan McClelland followed with a victory in 1-meter diving (211.30 points). He would later take the 3-meter diving competition as well (277.30)
Gannon would claim wins in the 200 Fly, 100 Free and 200 Back before Sriubas claimed another triumph, this time in the 500 Free (4:50.23).
Adam Lenz and
Mason Beck would come through as the two Blue Streak teammates went 1-2 in the 200 Breast.  Lenz (2;16.79) and Beck (2:16.89) held off David Gallion (2:17.27) to give JCU an outside chance in the final relay.Â
The Blue Streaks would need a win in the 400 Relay to pull of the team victory, but the Gannon "A" foursome (which won the Wooster Invitational in 3:04.08) would be a formidable unit to beat. The JCU quartet of
Jackson Cooper,
Forrest Campbell,
Westin Fishel and Matthew Ramsey would take second (3:15.74) behidn the Golden Knights winning time of 3:09.80.
The Blue Streaks are now 2-2 in dual meets this season.
