Women's Tennis Remains On Fire with Road Win over BW

Box Score MEDINA, Ohio -- John Carroll University Women's tennis truly brought the heat against Baldwin Wallace on Thursday with an overall score of 9-0. 

The Blue Streaks continued their perfect season with a record of 5-0, and aren't slowing down anytime soon. 

Skye Harwood and Megan Reese put on a show as usual at No. 1 doubles with a win over BW of 8-3.

Alyssa Krupp and Mia Zivkovic made things exciting in a similar fashion at No. 2 doubles matching the score of their teammates before them with a win of 8-3 as well.

Jaclyn Voss and Emily Day secured the win at No. 3 doubles with a score of 8-4.

Megan Reese started off the singles match at No. 1 with a triumph over BW in the first set by 6-3, and in the second by 6-1.

The streak continued with Alyssa Krupp for No. 2 singles taking set one with a score of 6-4 followed by another win in set two by 6-3.

Mia Zivkovic sailed through her singles match at No. 3 with 6-3 victory in the first set, followed by a 6-0 win for the second.

Skye Harwood unquestionably came out set in No. 4 singles with a close win of 7-6 in her first set, and finished strong in the second match with a 6-2 win.

Emily Day took a 10-3 final win in her No. 5 singles today with a win in the first set of 6-1, falling 2-6 in the second, and taking it home in the third with a tiebreaker set win of 10-3.

Jaclyn Voss finished it off for the Blue Streaks at No. 6 singles. Besides falling in the first set 1-6, Voss came back strong by taking the second set 6-3, and finishing off the day with a win in the tiebreaker with a final score of 10-8.

The Blue Streaks will have their last home match of the season against Otterbein on Friday, April 30 at 4:30 p.m.
