Voss clinched the final win.
Box Score MASON, Ohio -- Not even a little rain could spoil the party.

John Carroll University Women's Tennis stormed past Capital in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinal on Friday, 5-0.

Rain at the Lindner Family Tennis Center pushed the match indoors after the Blue Streaks had built a 4-0 advantage over the Crusaders. The Blue Streaks wrapped things up at South Regency Tennis Center, thanks to a Jaclyn Voss singles win to clinch it.

With the victory, the Blue Streaks remain undefeated with a flawless 8-0 record, pushing forward to the OAC Tournament Championship at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

As per usual, Megan Reese and Skye Harwood teamed up at No. 1 doubles. The savvy veterans kickstarted the doubles competition with an 8-2 conquest. Alyssa Krupp and Mia Zivkovic worked together like usual at No. 2 doubles, roaring to an 8-0 victory.

Voss and Emily Day picked up a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles and Day accepted a forfeit win at No. 6 singles. So, the Blue Streaks just needed to win one more singles match to lock down the win.

Finishing things up indoors, Voss did the honors of finalizing the triumph via a 6-2, 6-3 conquest.

When the match was clinched, Megan Reese held a 6-0, 2-1 lead at No. 1 singles; Alyssa Krupp was on the verge of a win at 6-0, 3-0 at No. 3; and Skye Harwood was leading the first set at No. 4. Mia Zivkovic never had the chance to get started at No. 3 singles.

The Blue Streaks have now reached the OAC Tournament final in six straight seasons. Tomorrow, the Blue Streaks will have a shot at their fifth straight title.
