UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Following the completion of the 2022 campaign, John Carroll Women's Tennis has been rewarded with conference honors.

Five Blue Streaks have been awarded with All-Ohio Athletic Conference recognition.

Megan Reese and Mia Zivkovic top the charts as All-OAC First Teamers. Morgan Little and Emily Day nabbed spots on the All-OAC Second Team. And Caroline Chandler rounded things out with Honorable Mention status.

All season long, Megan Reese occupied the top of the lineup. The senior from Massillon played every match at No. 1 singles and thrived, to the tune of a 12-4 mark. In conference play, Reese only lost one singles match, going 6-1 on the campaign.

Mia Zivkovic battled through injuries for a nice sophomore season. The Broadview Heights native held down the fort at No. 2 singles for the year, earning an 8-6 record at that spot, 8-7 overall. She tallied a 3-2 mark in OAC play.

Reese and Zivkovic formed the top tandem at No. 1 doubles for most of the season. The dynamic duo notched an 8-4 doubles record this year, including 3-1 against OAC foes. Each earned a spot on the All-OAC First Team in 2021, and Reese makes her third appearance after a First Team campaign in 2019, as well.

Emily Day enjoyed a nice senior season for JCU. The Wadsworth native most often played at No. 4 singles, but played at three different spots. Overall, she ended the season with a 5-3 record in singles, 2-2 vs. OAC opponents. Day did much of her damage in doubles play, with a 7-4 mark. She earned Honorable Mention All-OAC last season.

Morgan Little enjoyed a nice debut season. The North Carolina native finished the year with a 7-7 singles record, primarily playing at the No. 3 slot. In doubles play, Little was quite strong, with a 10-6 mark.

Caroline Chandler rounded out the honors with Honorable Mention recognition. The freshman from Iowa became quite adept at playing lengthy matches later in the season. For the season, Chandler tallied a 10-7 record, including a 4-3 mark in OAC play. In doubles competition, Chandler heated up later in the season, winning five straight to finish with an 11-7 record. The future is bright for Chandler.
