Mairin Dalziel now has four OAC Athlete of the Week awards.
WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- To win one Ohio Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week title is big for someone's career. To earn four in their career is something that rarely happens.

Enter Mairin Dalziel, who already has four after the first week of her sophomore year.

The Royal Oak, Michigan native shined in her opener to her sophomore campaign, as the Blue Streaks defeated the Westminster College Titans, 186-113.

Racing four times in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, Dalziel finished 4-for-4 in winning her races.

The first race she participated in was the 100 Yard Butterfly. She won this race with a final time of 1:01.10. Next, she would race in the 100 Free, winning with a time of 54.60.

Race number three for Dalziel was the 50 Fly. She destroyed the competition with a time of 27.25. The final race of the night was the 200 Free relay, as her team won with a score of 1:44.34.

Dalziel's success continued from last season, as she earned her first three OAC Swimmer of the Week awards in her freshman campaign. She hopes to continue this success as the Blue Streaks travel to Ada to face Ohio Northern on Saturday, October 28.
