NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday afternoon, the All-Academic Athletes and Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field seasons were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Just like in recent memory, John Carroll Women's Track & Field continued to stand high on the list.

The Blue Streaks have tallied 8 All-Academic Athletes and earned the All-Academic Team award.

The eight individual Blue Streaks to achieve the honor are Taylor Anthony, Genevieve Arnold, Caroline Beery, Claire Eberhardt, Erica Esper, Ellie Kitsmiller, Rosie Murray, and Abby Schroff. Each did a marvelous job this season of getting the job done in the classroom and recording strong marks in competition.

As a team, the Blue Streaks compiled a stellar 3.63 team GPA, an impressive number.

During the span of the track & field season, the Blue & Gold shined bright time and time again. Most notably, the Blue Streaks finished in second place at both the indoor and outdoor Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.

The future remains bright for the Blue Streaks, especially with so many smart student-athletes in the program.
