ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Mount Union Fall Invitational came to a close on Sunday in the nine-team affair.

Following a very strong Saturday effort that saw them in first, the Blue Streaks dropped to a tie for second place for the tournament.

John Carroll tallied a team score of 308 on Day 2, finishing with a total tally of 605 at Tannehauf Golf Course in Alliance. All scores are unofficial until loaded into Spikemark, which will hopefully be soon if the technology allows.

Jacob Hazen finished with the top score for the day with a 75. Combined with his Day 1 score, the Dublin, Ohio native earned a 149. He finished in a tie for fourth, just a couple strokes off the medalists. Zach Brinks started excellently on Saturday before a quieter but still solid Day 2, finishing at 72-77-149 to tie Hazen. Brinks certainly has a bright season ahead of him.

London Hoyser (77-76-153) and Austin Malley (74-82-156) were the next two Blue Streak scorers this weekend. Justy VonLehmden (81-80-161) provided a score on Sunday as he continues his solid freshman campaign.

Carson Meyer stood out amongst JCU's individuals with the best weekend, recording a line of 76-75-151 to tie for ninth. Anthony Krakowiak (79-74-153), Anthony Nuzzo (78-80-158), Daniel Donahue (81-80-161), and Paul Litrenta 87-81-168 also competed as individuals.
