Women's Golf Finishes Solidly at Kuhn Memorial Invitational

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Following a solid day on Sunday, John Carroll Women's Golf tallied an improved round on Monday. 

John Carroll finished in eighth place for the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational.

The 2-day tournament, hosted by Allegheny College at the at the Country Club of Meadville, featured 11 women's teams for stout Division III competition. John Carroll finished with a team score of 373.

The Blue Streaks' foursome tallied a total of 758 for the tournament. 

Isabella Mineo enjoyed a nice round on Monday. The Kent native recorded an 83, one of the best rounds of her collegiate career. That added up to a two-day total of 172 and a tie for 29th place. 


Anna Schramko finished closely behind Mineo, providing a line of 87-90-177. It was a nice tournament for Schramko, who's been helping to lead the team. 

Becca Abbott (98-101-199) and Amanda Millis (111-99-210) also competed for the Blue Streaks.

John Carroll is back in action next weekend for the OAC Fall Preview in West Lafayette, Ohio at River Greens.
