The Blue Streaks head into the postseason undefeated against conference opponents.
WILMINGTON – To cap off the regular season, John Carroll Women's Swimming & Diving headed down to do battle with the Fighting Quakers.

The Blue Streaks took care of business in style, conquering the Quakers, 139-65.

With the win, John Carroll concludes the year atop the Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet standings with a perfect 5-0 mark.

The Blue Streaks got out to a hot start in the 200 SC Meter Medley. Wilmington has a short course meter (SCM) and not a short course yard (SCY) pool, so times will not be listed in the recap but are in the full results. Annamarie Habusta, Mairin Dalziel, Marina Sneyd, and Hannah Smith combined to win the event.

John Carroll notched a 1-2-3 sweep in the 800 SCM Free. Audrey Prisby racked up another win, keeping up a hot streak that started last week, followed by Kaitlyn Hilty and Isabella Genise. Smith and Lauren Koppelmann followed it up with a 1-2 conquest in the 200 SCM Free. JCU didn't win the 50 SCM Free, but Anna Glass and Grace Roberts tabbed second and third.

Olivia Goodman got JCU back to the top of the results in 200 SCM IM, with Regan Gunzy following in third. Genise snuck past a Quaker for the 100 SCM Butterfly, with Glass nabbing third. Dalziel and Roberts snatched first and second next in the 100 SCM Free.

Koppelmann kept the winning ways rolling in the 100 SCM Backstroke, followed by Prisby. Another 1-2 followed in the 400 SCM Free. Sneyd did the honors this time with a clear win, followed by Maddie Jarosz in second. Regan Gunzy capped off the individual events, winning the 100 SCM Breaststroke.

The day concluded with the 200 SCM Free Relay, a final victory for John Carroll. Goodman, Maria Armao, Koppelmann, and Dalziel combined for first in the relay to end the day on a high note.

With the regular season complete, the attention moves to the postseason. The OAC Championships are next up on the schedule from February 14-17.
