John Carroll Football's Playoff Game Set to Air on ESPN+ on Saturday

| By:
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – John Carroll Football is set for a national audience.

On Saturday, the Blue Streaks will host Mount St. Joseph in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Football Tournament at 12 pm.

New this year, fans from across the country will be able to watch every Division III football playoff game on ESPN+.

In early November, the NCAA announced the plan to broadcast every NCAA Division III football playoff game exclusively on ESPN+, as part of a wider streaming initiative involving other sports.

And so, Saturday's Blue Streaks game will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+. John Carroll's Sports Information Department and Blue Streak Media will produce the broadcast for ESPN+, so the broadcast will have a similar feel to previous home games.

Fans looking to watch Saturday's action will need an ESPN+ subscription. Or, if you have the Disney bundle, you can access ESPN+ via that avenue. If you have a cable subscription, you might have access to ESPN+ as well.

Danny Gibel '26 will be the play-by-play announcer, while former JCU football coach Rick Finotti will be the color analyst.

With questions about the game being broadcast on ESPN+, email jginley@jcu.edu.
