The Blue Streaks battled hard, but could not scratch into the top ten in a packed field.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – John Carroll Men's Cross Country made its fifth straight appearance at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships on Saturday, no doubt an impressive feat.

A top-10 finish was not in the cards for the Blue Streaks, however, on a chilly day in Indiana.

The Blue Streaks finished in 30th place at the 2024 NCAA Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Results

Barrett Scheatzle guided the pack for the Blue Streaks in a talented field. The senior from Canton Central Catholic topped the team with a time of 25:10.6, finishing in 95th place. Ryan Champa was the next finisher at 25:34.3, good for 167th.

Aidan Stone made it inside the top-200 with a time of 25:47.1. Tommy Naiman (25:56.4) and Dominic Delmoro (25:56.5) finished back-to-back at 220th and 221st.

Sophomore Nate Julien (26:24.6) and first year Sam Su (26:51.6) rounded out the pack for the Blue & Gold.

And with that, cross country season concludes for the Blue Streaks. Without a doubt, it was another strong season for John Carroll, with an Ohio Athletic Conference Championship amongst the team's feats in 2024.
