The Venetia, PA native took care of business from there, concluding his day with a two-over-par score of 74. Malley finished in a tie for fifth place (76-75-69-74-294).

Jack Gerborg scuffled a bit on the front nine, but a pair of birdies on No. 4 and No. 8 aided his effort. The sophomore stood at three-over-par entering the final nine. Despite a birdie on No. 12, a couple of holes pulled him down to a 79 for the afternoon. But the freshman enjoyed an overall great tournament, with a line of 72-70-73-79-294 to tie Malley for fifth.

Zach Brinks stayed steady as ever in the early going, with a birdie on the par-5, 605-yard No. 3 hole and another birdie on a par-5 on No. 8. The senior sat at an even 36 heading into the back nine. The Cincinnati native tallied a 40 on the back nine to finish with a 76. The St. Xavier grad tied for 11th for the weekend (71-79-72-76-298).

Just like Brinks and Hoyser, Wade Boyle opened up the first nine holes even, aided by a birdie on No. 3. Four straight par holes gave him a 36 for starters. Birdies on No. 10 and No. 13 aided his bounceback effort. His score counted for the day with a one-over-par 73 to tie Hoyser for JCU's top Sunday mark. He finished at 80-88-73-73-314 for the weekend.
