Three Blue Streaks named to 2025 All-OAC Tournament Team

Corll, Simon and Haracz were essential to The Blue Streaks success this postseason
ALLIANCE – After an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament that yielded a win against rival Mount Union and two losses, three Blue Streaks are coming away with some well-deserved recognition.

Jake Corll, George Haracz and Roger Simon have been named to the 2025 All-OAC Tournament Team.

Jake Corll spun an absolute gem in his outing in the OAC Tournament against Mount Union, making him a crucial part of their last ever OAC win against the Purple Raiders. The junior tossed seven innings, surrendering only one run and three hits to a loaded Mount Union lineup. The Austintown, Ohio native left it all on the field for his last outing of the 2025 season.

George Haracz continued his consistent play that he demonstrated all season into the OAC Tournament. Haracz crossed home plate at least once in each of the Streaks' three playoff games, but his best performance came against Mount Union in the opening game of the tournament. The sophomore went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI, matching Mount Union's run total on his own.

In the Streaks' final game against Ohio Northern, Haracz was one of two runs driven in by Ethan Glossa's clutch game-tying triple in the top of the ninth inning. The Streaks would end up losing that contest in heart-breaking walk-off fashion, but Haracz's impact on the game was undeniable.

Roger Simon did everything he could for the Blue Streaks in their final game of the season against Ohio Northern, pitching lights out against the Polar Bears. The junior threw eight innings, giving up (much like Corll before him) one run on three hits, and struck out five. Although he was credited with the loss, Simon's gutsy performance won't be soon forgotten.

The silver lining within the agony of defeat for these Blue Streaks is that all three of these 2025 All-OAC Tournament Team members will be back for next year's North Coast Athletic Conference debut.
