UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – A great campaign is leading to recognition for John Carroll Women's Lacrosse.

Following a fantastic season that featured the second NCAA Tournament appearance for the program, the best start in program history, and an undefeated record at home, the Blue Streaks are hauling in accolades from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.

Olivia Hanulak and Riley Knapp secured spots on the 2025 IWLCA Division III All-Region Teams, earning Second Team honors.

This is the first time since 2022 that the Blue Streaks have garnered members on an All-Region Team. This also marks the seventh time with multiple All-Region honorees for the Blue Streaks. Hanulak and Knapp are the ninth and tenth individual Blue Streaks to earn this distinction.

For Olivia Hanulak, this is a feather in the cap of an awesome career. The Gibsonia, Pennsylvania native returned for her grad year and did an outstanding job in her fifth season. Hanulak snagged First Team All-OAC honors for a second straight season. The attack topped the team in goals (53) and points (76) as John Carroll's top finisher.

The Pine-Richland alum showcased an ability to score at will, especially later on in the season, often finding openings and making opponents pay. On a team with a spread-out scoring attack, Hanulak proved to be the ringleader, powering JCU's run into the NCAA Tournament.

For Riley Knapp, this is a recognition as her collegiate career hits the halfway point. The sophomore displayed outstanding speed this season, with flashy moves and impressive athleticism in the midfield. The Cazenovia, New York native topped the team with 49 groundballs and notched 20 draw controls, showing off a great knack for tracking down the ball. She tallied First Team All-OAC honors for the first time in her career.

The Exercise Science major did excellent work in transition, as well, often taking advantage of unprepared opponents by racing down the field to score. A skilled finisher, Knapp finished third on the team with 39 goals and fourth with 45 points. A dynamic player, Knapp will be a cornerstone piece of the future for the Blue Streaks.

The IWLCA honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2025. All of these student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2025 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 23.
