82 Blue Streaks Earn Spring Academic All-OAC Honors

The Blue Streaks excelled in the classroom this year

WESTERVILLE -- After an excellent spring season, John Carroll Athletics has a wealth of student-athletes to celebrate.

The Blue Streaks thrived in the classroom this year. Today, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced its Academic All-OAC list. For John Carroll, a total of 80 student-athletes earned Academic All-OAC honors.

The criteria for Academic All-OAC are: Cumulative grade-point-average of 3.5 (3.495 can be rounded up); Varsity status; Sophomore or higher in class standing; Student-athletes must have completed the equivalent of a full academic year, while enrolled full-time at the nominating institution; and A student-athlete may not receive Academic All-OAC honors more than three times in one sport.
