The Blue Streaks have a busy weekend ahead, all on the road

Happy Friday! Here is your weekend preview.

The first fall season in the NCAC for the John Carroll Blue Streaks is underway, starting with an action packed weekend.

Here's what to expect:

Football
The Blue Streaks open their season playing in Waynesburg, PA against Waynesburg with kickoff scheduled for 1 pm.

JCU finished with a winning record of 9-3 in the 2024 season. With this game beginning Waynesburg's season as well, the drive to win is high on both sides of the field and should be a great game to start the year.

Volleyball
John Carroll Volleyball has a busy weekend to look forward to in Berea, OH at the Marcia French Invitational. Friday, they will face Baldwin Wallace at 5 pm before playing twice on Saturday, first at 12 pm against Mount St. Joseph and next Carnegie Mellon at 2:30 pm.

The Blue Streaks go into this weekend after a dominant 3-1 win against Allegheny College this week.

Soccer
JCU Women's Soccer will compete twice this weekend in Maryville, TN. On Friday at 5:30 pm, they face off against Maryville College and before taking on Covenant College at 1 pm.

JCU Men's Soccer will have their first away match in Wilmington, PA on Saturday against Westminster, kicking off at 1 pm.

Women's Golf
JCU Women's Golf will take part in the Mount Union Fall Invitational this Sunday in Alliance, OH at Tannenhauf Golf Course.

Last weekend saw Julia Gulla, a first year, named the NCAC's Athlete of the Week for Women's Golf and set a new program record with a round of 74 (+2). Taking first in the ONU Kickoff Classic and second in Joe Campoli Memorial, JCU looks to keep the momentum going.

Tennis
John Carroll Men's and Women's Tennis will be away to face Wooster College in Wooster, OH on Saturday in an exhibition match.

The Blue Streaks are coming off of a powerful season-opener double win over Grove City College last weekend.
