Leo Miller '87 & Hayden Snow '20 Recognized Throughout The Meet Of Champions
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – For a second consecutive week, the Blue Streaks competed in the Athletic Wellness & Event Center (AWE) and recognized two alums of the program who made a remarkable impact in their careers.

Today was very special for two former student-athletes of the program. Both Leo Miller '87 and Hayden Snow '20 (both named after the meet this year) were honored for their accomplishments throughout the competition.

There were several performances that made conference marks, as well as earning personal bests in most events competed.

Teams that were present at the meet this past Saturday were Carnegie Mellon, Baldwin Wallace, Case Western Reserve, and Ursuline College.

Some of the most notable performances are posted below:

Isaiah Travlee (60 Meter Dash): 6.92
Basheer Alramahi (400 Meter Dash): 48.06
Tyler Gast (400 Meter Dash): 48.33
Max Grillo (800 Meter Run): 1:57.48
Chris Whiting (Mile): 4:21.39
Sam Su (3000 Meter Run): 8:33.05
AJ Haddox (High Jump): 1.82
Jordon Rodman (Triple Jump): 13.83
Moose Frombach (Weight Throw): 16.28

First year Isaiah Travlee earned a top finish in the 60 meter dash and is now .04 seconds off the school record in the event. He sits in first place in the conference with that time.

Alramahi and Gast impressed the field with blazing times as they are first and second in the conference. Tyler's time of 48.33 puts him sixth in the country.

Distance athletes of Grillo, Whiting, and Su cement themselves into top conference marks and will look to ride that momentum going into February.

In the field events, Haddox, Rodman, and Frombach all earned personal bests to officially begin their year indoors.

The Blue Streaks will return to action next Friday-Saturday, January 30th-31st as they will travel to Baldwin Wallace University for the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge. A small contingent will travel to the Penn State National Open at Penn State University during that same weekend.

These past couple of weeks have been historic for the program as they will now look to keep chasing marks and high level performances going into next month.
