The meet opened on a difficult note for the Blue Streaks. JCU's 200 Medley Relay team suffered a DQ due to an early takeoff, nullifying bigtime points for JCU. Thankfully, the Blue & Gold rallied in the 800 Free Relay. Mairin Dalziel, Bree Shirkey, Ella Muzychak, and Audrey Sevald combined for a fourth-place time of 7:49.06.

Thursday's session started off with a busy 500 Free. Ella Muzychak did solid work in the B final with a time of 5:20.32 for 16th. Marina Sneyd won the C final race while Jenna Fetsko finished 22nd overall.

Audrey Sevald starred as the lone Blue Streak to compete in an A final on Thursday. Previously an 2-time individual OAC Champion, the sophomore rose to the occasion in the 200 IM. The Akron native tallied a time of 2:10.91, good for eighth place.

In 200 IM B final, Kami Contakis won the heat with a time of 2:12.81, cutting nearly two seconds from the prelims. Olivia Goodman (12th), JJ Gowetski (14th), and Dylayn Shipe (15th) also put points on the board with nice swims in the B final.

Bree Shirkey and Mairin Dalziel both represented JCU well in the 50 Free B final. Shirkey touched the wall in 24.91 for 14th and Dalziel followed just afterwards in 24.94 for 15th. Alyssa Galley (19th), Grace Roberts (22nd), and Taylor Hudson (24th) all accumulated points in the C final.

The day concluded with a solid result in the 400 Medley Relay. Sevald, Contakis, Gabrielle Adamczyk, and Dalziel combined for a fourth-place effort. The JCU quartet notched a time of 3:58.37. Sevald starred with a new 100 Backstroke record in her part of the relay, with a new record time of 56.99.

In the 1 Meter Diving, Cate Braniecki performed well for JCU. The first year from Buffalo tallied a score of 272.15 for eighth place.
