Men's Lacrosse will host its home opener on Saturday to begin a lacrosse doubleheader

A busy weekend is in store with the final gasps of crossover season. Every spring sports team is in action for John Carroll as swimming & diving wraps up the winter.

Here's what is in store for the Blue Streaks.

Men's Swimming and Diving

Cameron Cook, Jacob Florio, and Bart Kubis are competing at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship. The trio is swimming in Indianapolis, at the IU Natatorium, with the finale on Saturday.

Men's Lacrosse
John Carroll's Men's Lacrosse is at last at home this weekend, hosting Wabash College. With this being the first time seeing each other, and first conference game under their belts, the Blue Streaks will be fighting for a win.

The game will take place at 12 pm on Saturday, March 21 at Don Shula Stadium.

Women's Lacrosse
The Blue Streaks' 4-game home stand continues on Saturday against Fredonia State. Both teams are at .500, as JCU enters at 3-3 and the Blue Devils are 4-4 following a 10-6 loss at Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday.

The showdown is set for 4 pm at Shula Stadium.

Baseball
A doubleheader is in store for JCU Baseball, as they travel to Case Western Reserve University right down the road this weekend. After a strong win against Bethany College on Thursday, the team is looking to add more wins on the board. The first game is at 12 pm on Saturday and the second game follows at 3 pm.

The Blue Streaks will return home Sunday to play Thiel College. JCU will be  celebrating the seniors, and supporting Morgan's Message at 1 pm for the first pitch.

Softball
A doubleheader is in store for JCU Softball, as they travel to Albion College in Michigan this weekend. Having plenty of rest from the Oswego doubleheader canceled due to snow, the Blue Streaks are looking forward to get back on the winning track.

The first game will be played at 1 pm on Saturday, with the second game following immediately after at 3 pm.

Men's and Women's Tennis
Tennis will take on an old OAC foe this Saturday. The men and women face Otterbein together on Saturday at 11 am at New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio.

In the last meetings a year ago, Otterbein beat the Blue Streaks 6-1 on the men's side, while the JCU women won, 4-3.
