UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH. – The Blue Streaks were awarded several All-Region accolades from the 2026 outdoor track & field season.

Announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday, May 19th, the top eight individuals and relays in each event from each region were recognized.

The men earned a total of 16 All-Region performances, ranging from individual events to relays. 

This season has been one of the most historic campaigns for the program. The team won their first conference championship since 2002 and qualified a few individuals to this year's 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships. 

Athletes who achieved Great Lakes All-Region status include:

Basheer Alramahi
400 Meter Dash: 5th (47.25)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:10.83)

Jack Arnold
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:10.83)

Tyler Gast
200 Meter Dash: 5th (21.38)
400 Meter Dash: 3rd (47.03)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:10.83)

Carson Harrod
110 Meter Hurdles: 8th (14.61)

Julius Kimbrough
High Jump: T-4th (2.02) - 6' 7.5"

Charlie Payne
3000 Meter Steeplechase: 4th (9:23.90)

Jordan Rodman
Triple Jump: 7th (14.15) - 46' 5.25"

Sam Su
800 Meter Run: T-7th (1:53.31)
1500 Meter Run: 2nd (3:46.83)
5000 Meter Run: 7th (14:49.61)

Tony Tirado
400 Meter Hurdles: 6th (54.26)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:10.83)

Chris Whiting 
1500 Meter Run: 8th (3:53.35)

Five of the 10 individuals represented the men's track & field program at this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
