Men’s Track & Field Earns High Finishes At Harrison Dillard Twilight Hosted By Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio – After securing their first conference championship since 2002, the Blue Streaks are now on the verge of the national championships.

With the 2026 outdoor season coming close to an end, the team will now take part in a couple of last chance meets before concluding their campaigns. 

This past Friday, May 8th, the men's track & field team traveled to Baldwin Wallace University for the Harrison Dillard Twilight at George Finnie Stadium.

Colby Humbert (100 Meter Dash): 11.13
Ethan Show (200 Meter Dash): 22.13
Basheer Alramahi (400 Meter Dash): 47.43
Sam Su (1500 Meter Run): 3:46.86
Chris Whiting (1500 Meter Run): 3:53.96
Charles Payne (5000 Meter Run): 15:12.29
Chuck Reigrut (5000 Meter Run): 15:30.24

In the 100 meter dash, junior Colby Humbert has started to catch his stride, earning a first place finish in the qualifying round with a time of 11.13 seconds. This was his fastest time recorded this season. 

Ethan Show placed fourth overall in the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 22.13 seconds. 

In the fast section of the 400 meter dash, senior Basheer Alramahi ran 47.43 seconds and won the event. Alramahi is currently ranked 19th in Division III with his time of 47.25 seconds back in April. 

Sophomore Sam Su nearly broke the 1500 meter school record once again and placed first overall in the fast section with a time of 3:46.86. 

The trio of Charles Payne (15:12.29), Chuck Reigrut (15:30.24), and Brian Standley (15:35.55) all earned new personal bests in the 5000 meter run in different heats. 

With just two weeks left in the season, the Blue Streaks will now make the most of these final couple of last chance meets before heading to the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. 

Next Up

The men's track & field team will travel to
Augustana College for the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier in Rock Island, Illinois, while a small group will compete at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet in Alliance, Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday, May 13th-14th.
