JCU Swimming & Diving Distinguished with CSCAA Scholar All-America Status

Both JCU Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving are Scholar All-America Teams following a strong spring

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – In the midst of a hot summer, John Carroll Swimming & Diving has been recognized for a cool accomplishment in the pool and in the classroom. 

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps.

John Carroll's Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving squads have been honored with Scholar All-America status.

In all, the CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions for their academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, these teams represent 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team Grade Point Average of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.

JCU Men's Swimming & Diving achieved an impressive Team GPA of 3.60. Meanwhile, JCU Women's Swimming & Diving thrived with a strong Team GPA of 3.47.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team program presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps recognizes collegiate swimming and diving teams that have demonstrated excellence in the classroom by achieving a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester. Since its inception, the program has celebrated thousands of teams and student-athletes who exemplify the balance of academic and athletic success.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
