A three-year letterwinner who had a fantastic year as a junior... Set new career-high averages with 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game...Finished in the top ten in the conference in both rebounds and blocked shots... Earned All-OAC Honorable Mention status for her efforts... Last year's breakout season came on the heels of a solid sophomore campaign when she started in all 26 games and was the team's third-leading scorer in 2007-08, averaging 9.1 points per game...Led the team with 184 rebounds, good for an average of 7.1 per game...Her team-leading 49 blocks was the second highest total in the Ohio Athletic Conference... Was named the Most Valuable Player of 2007 Wittenberg University Charles B. Zimmerman Memorial Classic (12/28 & 12/29/2007), and her 29 points and 11 rebounds helped lead JCU to a team title... Was third on the team as a freshman grabbing 144 total rebounds... Also as a freshman, led both her team and the Ohio Athletic Conference with 43 blocked shots... Was a three-year letterwinner at Walsh Jesuit (OH) High School... Helped her team win the 2005 State Championships and, as a senior, she received the team's Captain Award and was named MVP by the coaching staff... Also played soccer in high school and was a Eucharistic Minister... A National Honors Society member... Is an Exercise Science major and a Dean's List student at John Carroll... Owns a 3.56 GPA...Serves as an athletic trainer and Eucharistic Minister... Plans on attending graduate school for physical therapy... Daughter of Jeff and Molly Sureck.
