Abby Bednar enters her first season as the graduate assistant for John Carroll Volleyball.
Bednar starred for the Blue Streaks during the 2024 campaign. The Chagrin Falls native enjoyed a fantastic campaign as an outside hitter, becoming the team's foremost offensive weapon. At the conference level, the Kenston grad earned First Team All-OAC status, the OAC Newcomer of the Year award, and OAC All-Tournament honors.
Bednar joined elite company by winning AVCA All-American Honorable Mention status. Academically, he secured Academic All-District Team from the College Sports Communicators.
Bednar is pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
