Kit (O'Shaughnessy) Mladenovic '17 enters her second year as the graduate assistant of the volleyball program in the 2021-22 school year.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Mladenovic (nee O'Shaughnessy) was a 4-year standout for the Blue Streaks earning All-OAC First Team honors in 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016. This was the first time in program history a player had earned such an honor all four seasons in the program. Mladenovic also finds herself in the record books as she was named the program's first OAC Freshman of the year in 2013. After being named captain in 2016 she finished her career with the Blue Streaks second all-time in career assists (4,010), tied for sixth in matches played (117) and eighth in service aces (135).

The Avon Lake, Ohio native and graduate of Elyria Catholic High School managed an impressive 3.384 grade point average as a Biochemistry major at John Carroll while earning the 2017 Clyde Lamb Award from the Ohio Athletic Conference. Mladenovic also received an Outstanding Achievement award in Spanish for the 2015-16 school year, had a study abroad stint in Italy during 2017 and earned Dean's List status.
