Playing four tough games proved to be small consolation for the John Carroll volleyball team as the Streaks suffered a fifth straight loss at the College of Wooster Tuesday night.

After the two teams split the first two games, Wooster won two closely contested frames to put the match away.
John Carroll played a sloppy first game but fell by a 25-22 score. In the second set, the score was tight late, but the Streaks scored three of the final four points to win by a 25-22 count.
Despite committing just two errors in the third game, JCU could not pull off the win as Wooster edged the Streaks, 25-22.
The Fighting Scots appeared poised to run away with game four. A 19-12 advantage was nearly chopped away with a 7-1 Blue streaks run, but the hosts righted their ship to close out the match, 25-21.
Theresa Noewer led the Blue Streaks (13-9) with 11 kills while Mealnie Rodriguez paced the defense with 24 digs.
Freshman Paige Parker was the top player in the kills category with 20 as Wooster (11-10) won for the first time at home since September 18.
