Jeff Deal and the Blue Streaks captured second place at the 2010 Pat Flowers Invitational
John Carroll has won its own Pat Flowers Invitational on four occasions through the years, but it was almost assumed that with NAIA power Malone College in the field, it would be hard to make it five.
The Pioneers, ranked #5 in the latest NAIA Coaches poll, did not disappoint in besting the eight-team field in the 27-hole tournament held Friday at Fowler's Mill Golf Course in Chesterland, Ohio. Malone tallied a score of 413 to win the title by over 30 strokes.
