JCU is hoping to be in a celebratory mood at the conclusion of the 2010 OAC Tournament
There is a sense that an overwhelming favorite exists in this year's Ohio Athletic Conference Softball Tournament, but host Ohio Northern will still have to get through a four-team field that includes John Carroll when play gets underway Friday in Ada.
The Blue Streaks are seeded third and will begin play on Friday, May 7, against second-seeded Mount Union starting at 11:00 a.m. Depending on its first result, JCU will next play either the winner of game 2 (between Muskingum or Ohio Northern) at 3:00 pm, or the loser of game two at 5:00 pm.
The final three games of the tournament are slated to begin every two hours starting at 11:00 am
