Gina Catania and the Blue Streaks nearly pulled off a stunning comeback at Case Reserve
John Carroll appeared to have Case Reserve reeling after coming back from two games down to force a fifth and deciding frame, but the host Spartans mustered enough to hold off the Streaks Tuesday night at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland.

The Spartans won the first two games, 25-21 and 27-25, before JCU took the next two by identical 25-20 scores. Case then rallied to take the fifth set, 15-12.
With the win, Case Reserve improved to 12-3 and captured its ninth consecutive victory. The Blue Streaks fall to 13-7 following their third loss in a row.
