First place Ohio Northern keeps on winning, so second place John Carroll is doing its part to keep pace. On Saturday, four different Blue Streaks recorded goals as part of a 4-0 victory over host Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.

Colleen Harmon started off the scoring in the ninth minute, while Kaylin Akerly and
Genny Goergen added tallies in the first half to build a 3-0 lead by intermission.
Jackie Murrer posted the only second half goal to round out the scoring.
Equally impressive was the effort by the John Carroll defense, which did not allow a shot on goal until the 67th minute.
JCU had 31 shots in all to Muskingum's six.
With the win, John Carroll improves to 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the OAC. Muskingum falls to 5-10 and 1-4 in league play.
