Haley McDonald recorded her third shutout of the season against a conference opponent at Baldwin Wallace
Box Score
Just one evening after the John Carroll and Baldwin Wallace men played 110 minutes in Berea without a goal, the John Carroll and Baldwin Wallace women duplicated that result on the same pitch Wednesday night.
The visiting Blue Streaks had a slight edge in shots (9-8) but still wound up with their first 0-0 draw of the 2012 campaign.
It was also the first 0-0 draw JCU has played since its 2010 OAC Tournament semifinal round match with Wilmington ended in scoreless after two regulation halves and two overtime periods.
Haley McDonald made just two saves, and has now allowed just four goals in six league matches, including only one in the last four.
John Carroll is now 8-5-2 overall, including 3-1-2 in league play which leaves the Blue Streaks in sole possession of fourth place with three regular season contests remaining. Baldwin-Wallace moves to 9-3-4 overall, and 3-2-1 (5th place) in the OAC.
