John Carroll won two of three doubles matches but could not sustain the momentum in dropping a 6-3 decision at Mount Union Tuesday.

Anna Stein won by an 8-6 score at #1 doubles, while the tandem of
Katherine Devine and
Tracy Gibson won by the same count in the #2 doubles match.
Unfortunately, John Carroll could not keep its winning ways going in singles play. Only Gibson at #3 singles produced a point thanks to a 7-5 6-3 victory over.Megan Czuchra.
The loss drops John Carroll to 5-7 on the year while Mount Union improved to 7-1. Both teams are 1-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
