Needing to claw back in singles play the John Carroll University women's tennis team needed to win the final two singles matches to complete the upset. JCU split the remaining two singles matches to drop the 5-4 decision.

Tracy Gibson dominated at No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-2.
Fighting hard was Miller who was the first of the pair to finish. She battled and dropped a tightly contested first set 5-7 before falling 1-6 to clinch the match for ONU.
Ivana Didovic regrouped after dropping the second set to take the 3-set win 6-1, 3-6, 6-1.
The Blue and Gold's lone doubles point came when
Catherine Engel and
Anna Stein knocked off Christina Corbean and Brittany Toney 8-4 in first singles.
John Carroll fell to 5-8, 1-2 OAC.
