Men's Tennis Falls In Tightly Contested Match Against Wooster

The John Carroll University men's tennis team battled hard but could not come out on top of a trio of three-set singles matches on Friday evening at the Paramount Tennis Club in Medina, Ohio.
 
John Carroll would fall to the College of Wooster 7-2.
 
The Blue Streaks trailed 2-1 after doubles. Scott Adsit and Nick Siciliano picked up the lone doubles point for the Blue and Gold with a 9-7 win at the No. 2 position.
 
Jad Abdul-Aal picked up John Carroll's second point with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
 
Kyle Mollison and Alex Guthrie both battled back after dropping the first set. The duo would both fall by identical 6-7, 6-4, 3-6 scores at Nos. 2 and 3 singles.
 
Siciliano jumped out to a 1-0 lead after taking the first set 7-5. The sophomore could not close out the match dropping the second set 4-6 and the third 6-7.
 
The men's tennis team will be back in action against the Florida Institute of Technology on Tuesday, March 3. The match will take place in Tampa, Fla. on the campus of USF.
